This is aimed at introducing Volleyball to new players. This is focused on the beginner aged 5 to 12yrs.

Aer Lingus Eagles

For players aged 12 to14 and 14 to 18yrs or who graduate from the Wings program and from our Volleypartner Schools program. This will cater for fun or Competitive Volleyball

Aer Lingus Volleyball Club Volleypartners

Aer Lingus VBC, in conjunction with six local Second Level Schools and Colleges are promoting the development of Volleyball within theses schools.

Phase 1 of this program took place in April 2000 with the sponsorship of a Skills Instructor Award course for the P.E. Teachers and school nominated Transition year Students.

Phase 2 includes visits to the schools by the ALVBC Teams and Coaches, Demonstration Games, Past Pupil V's Club match, Skills coaching for School Players from the Club Coaches.

Phase 3 includes a blitz competition between participating Schools at ALSAA. The Transition Year students and ALVBC members will run this.

Phase 4 aims to set up of a Club Team made up of the interested pupils from the participating schools. This team will be entered into National Competition and Tournaments.
